D.L. and the Originals

The mid-sixties brought to the scene Dave Leonard and the Originals. Many of the members were former Embers, a few were new to the music business, and one or two moved over from North Dakota. With a variety of talented musicians working out of St. Cloud, the Originals playlist was quite extensive and very impressive.

Dueling trumpets with Dick Krekleberg and John Fritz blasting away	A young Dick Westrom fighting off his lady fans once again.
Go-go dancers added to the show and made the long trips home a lot more pleasant.	Duane "Smitty" Smith backed by Bob Coates, Gary Mitchell and John Fritz.
